Free It’s Just A Bunch Of Hocus Pocus SVG If you don’t have these items you can also use your hot glue gun and just some ribbon, however I’m not sure how well that would hold up if your sign is on the heavier side, so I would weight my options. I find that it’s so easy to make these wood rounds into door hanger signs by using a heavy duty stapler and some thick jute twine rope.
That means that I waited till the design had cooled down before removing the clear transfer tape. I pressed my design for 45 seconds at 300☏, and did a cool peel. Next you will align your design where it will go and then using firm pressure press it onto to the wood. Pre-heat the wood by applying pressing it for 5 seconds to remove any excess moisture before applying the iron-on vinyl design. I use my Cricut EasyPress 2 for projects like this, but you can use any other heat source you have available as well. STEP 4: Press The Design Onto The Wood Round. Since we will be directly applying the design onto the sign, make sure that you only weed the excess parts of it. You always want to cut your iron-on vinyl on this setting. When you go to cut your design make sure you select the option to “Mirror” it. Remember to hit the little lock icon closed before you change the size to retain the correct proportions. Once you have your measurement, adjust the size of your design inside of Design Space. You can get a good measurement by using a measuring tape and measuring how wide and tall you want your design to be on the wood round. STEP 2: Upload the FREE Hocus Pocus Sign SVG File to Cricut Design Space and size it accordingly to the size of the wood round you are going to use. Once you’ve finished staining it, let it dry completely for at least a few hours. Remember to use gloves while applying the stain, and always do this out in the open, never inside. If you want to have a darker color, you might try applying a thicker coat or even multiple coats of stain to your sign. Once it’s clean apply the stain using an old rag or a sponge. To do this first I would suggest running a clean rag over the wood round sign to make sure it is free of dust and debris.
